Learning a foreign language tends
to be a bit more difficult for adults than for children, but it's still
doable. German is
one of the easiest languages to learn once you already know English. In other words, if you know English, you can get a quick start at learning German by learning about cognates.
What are
cognates? Cognates are words in two languages that share a similar meaning,
spelling, and pronunciation. Many words are
spelled almost the same in German as in English and have the same meaning.
